Press Release Summary: A summer long project has finally come to an end with
exceptional outcome. The Roe- Chapman house at the Strongsville Historical society
in Strongsville Ohio has been successfully restored to its original glory. This
Dutch Colonial Revival house that was built in 1904 needed some TLC to bring it back
to life and who better than Jaworski Coatings Inc out of Elyria Ohio to do it.

Press Release Body: Upon the initial look at the house Matt Jaworski owner of
Jaworski Coatings knew that this was going to require some long days, hard work, and
a lot of material. The first step in restoring this old beauty was to strip off the
existing layers of lead paint. The crew at Jaworski Coatings spent four days
applying Peel- Away 1, an environmentally safe lead paint stripper. This product is
applied as a thick paste then encapsulated with a plastic-laminated paper, after 48
the paper is peeled off, removing the lead paint and exposing the bare wood. The
Roe- Chapman house took 200 gallons in Peel-Away 1 to remove the multiple layers of
paint.


With the old paint off and the bare wood exposed, now came the daunting task of
selecting a color scheme that would take the 1904 home back in time. Armed with old
photos, and color samples Karen; the historian for the Strongsville Historical
society and Marie Jaworski; color specialist for Jaworski Coatings went to work. The
once all white home is now rich with a color scheme taken straight out of history.
The body of the home is a light gray with all of the shake siding painted a dark
green. With white on all of the trim and a deep maroon red accenting all the
windows. The Dutch Colonial Rival is now an eye catcher. All paint is the highest
